Hobe Sound
Hobe Sound is located in Martin County and has a total of 5.7 square miles including Jupiter Island. Hobe Sound offers low density living with amazing nature preserves, intracoastal and beaches. Hutchinson Island is a barrier island on the coast of both Martin and Saint Lucie county. The South end of the island is in Martin County and the remaining 2/3rds of the island North is in Saint Lucie County. Hutchinson Island consists of many mid rise oceanfront condos as well as single family homes.On the Southern point of Hutchinson Island there is an amazing oceanfront country club community called Sailfish Point. Indiantown
Indiantown Florida is a Census Dedicated Place in western Martin County of over 5,500 residents. Originally, Indiantown was a trading post of the Seminole Native American tribe, but was settled by white American migrants in the 1890’s due to the expansion of a railroad line. Indiantown was a part of the development boom in south Florida until the 1920’s, and today the only structure that remains of that time period is the Seminole Inn which is a part of the National Register of Historic Places. Known for its strong agricultural industry, Indiantown is a large producer of Florida oranges and sugar cane crops. Indiantown is also home to the world’s first hybrid solar energy facility, one of the best horse-racing parks in the country, and one of the most advanced fiber optic networks. With access to the St. Lucie Canal, Indiantown has a connection to both the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Okeechobee unlike many central Floridian communities.
